New Year

This is a message to all my dear;

It's a new chance to cheer,

A new chance to live without fear,

A new chance to explore this world so queer,

A new chance to annoy my 'beasty' dear,

A new me to bear.

I am not gonna be a quitter,

Not gonna be King Lear,

I am gonna live my life in full gear,

To anybody who needs me,

I am gonna be near.

These are the promises I make,

This very New Year.
